YouCount team holds the first physical meeting in Copenhagen

ESSRG’s YouCount project has successfully arrived at the mid-period. Consortium members met in Copenhagen (Denmark) in June for the first time to move the project forward and share research results across the 10 case studies, including the two Hungarian cases.

What’s next for Citizen Science?

What’s new in citizen science training: from open science to engagement

At this event, the EU-Citizen.Science platform’s partners showcased the recent development of the project: three training modules and offered the opportunity to meet the trainers who developed them. The final version of the platform and its new features were also presented along with the input presentations from winners of the #MonthOfTheProjects campaign.

Creating courses for adult learners on ESSRG’s online learning platform

ESSRG has been developing an online e-learning platform in Hungarian and English to render research outputs and project-based scientific knowledge more accessible to a larger public. Adaptation of online teaching methodologies became a preference for ESSRG, not merely for disseminating knowledge efficiently but also for offering quality e-courses for adult learners.

ESSRG, as one of the Third Party members, contributes to the content development and dissemination of the EU-Citizen Science platform across Hungary. The platform offers opportunities to learn more about citizen science, build professional networks and contribute to the knowledge hub of the citizen science community across Europe.

CONECT-e: Petra Benyei’s workshop on the citizen science innovation in agroecology

On the 24th of November, Petra Benyei (PhD. in Environmental Sciences at UAB, 2020) was invited by ESSRG’s researchers, Alexandra Czeglédi and Borbála Lipka, to introduce the Spanish citizen science platform called  CONECT-e in an internal workshop. Participants from ESSRG and the Hungarian Seed House (Magház), Védegylet and the Hungarian Permaculture Association (MAPER) joined her on Zoom.
