Orsolya Lazányi

During my PhD research I have carried out an action research to explore how an alternative economic organization can be socially and environmentally sustainable by linking ecological economics and social and solidarity economy.

My ambitions to create a change in the society also manifests in being co-founder of the degrowth-oriented open-collective, Cargonomia, a centre of sustainable food consumption and production and cargobike center of Budapest. As a civil actor, I am committed to have an impact on my own environment and in my own community to support sustainable food production, consumption and sustainable mobility.

Within ESSRG, I am currently involved in the RADIANT project carrying out policy analysis of underutilised crops.
